Print this entry

Murray Roach and his wife Raewyn spent 6 months in Europe last year WWOOFING their way around. Their travels were made easier with their own vehicle which they bought over there and are keeping for the next trip!  They shipped over all their farm/work gear before they left. Starting in Portugal then to a bio vegetable farm in southern France then 3 different farms in Italy. They worked 15 weeks in total and the balance in sightseeing. Murray is a product from Marlborough Boys College in New Zealand with a farming background. They have a lifestyle block at the Sunshine Coast and the club visited there some years ago. They have a mixture of 400+ fruit trees, mostly citrus, 10 bee hives and an excellent vegetable garden needing watering!
