Joanne Towsey will talk on her research on flying fox. Jo joined Fuller Lab (http://www.fullerlab.org) as a PhD student in 2010 and focuses on how flying fox utilise the urban landscape of Brisbane with a particular emphasis on their foraging ecology. Jo hopes that her project will provide insights into how flying-fox might deal with increasing urbanisation, and how flying-fox interactions with the human communities that inhabit urbanised areas can be enhanced. Joanne will bring along suitable netting that doesn’t affect Flying Fox.
NOTE: The talk starts from 7.30 pm as the AGM starts at 7 pm.
