Guest Speaker – Bob Lutterall on Native Bees Thursday 13th April 2017

Bob has developed a new system of extracting native bee honey in a stainless steel extractor using two 3D Printers to make the plastic frames that the bees happily store their honey in.

Dick Copeman will give a talk on Fruit Salad Rotation; Sheryl will discuss the new CSIRO book out “Interpreting Soil Test Results”; Shelley Gage will introduce members to two books which have impressed her recently. The first is in our library and is called, "Pruning for Flowers and Fruit" & "A Garden of Marvels". George will give a talk and perhaps Bruce McLean might too!  It’s the Christmas Party – Bring something for the raffle table or supper & receive a complimentary raffle ticket.

Field Trip Sunday 6th November 10am Visiting Brian Dobeli 10am

Brian has been growing fruit trees for about 30 years and the last 10 years or so has started to grow different or unusual trees and probably has about 100 different trees.  It’s a really nice drive out to his place at Mt Forbes.
